Fire Risk Assessments
Staying on top of fire safety is essential for any employer or landlord, and we believe fire risk assessments are your first step towards ensuring that safety within your premises.
It is a legal requirement under Article 9 of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (2005) that the responsible person must have a Fire Risk Assessment of their premises completed annually.

Fire Risk Assessments are required for all non-domestic properties - including public and commercial premises, such as schools, nursing homes, care homes, offices, retail outlets, and businesses that provide sleeping accommodation. They give you a complete and transparent report into any risks or potential risks you may have, how to mitigate them as well as information on other aspects such as the use of portable heaters, personal electronics etc.

Following the on-site Fire Risk Assessment you will then receive a written report, as well as photos of identified risks, detailing any findings covering all areas of the assessment - including an action plan to use moving forward so that these risks can either be mitigated or removed.

Fire Door Inspections
At BRND Fire Solutions, our fully accredited and trained members can help assist you in meeting your legal requirements by regularly inspecting your existing fire doors, which should be completed annually, providing full written reports that are easy to understand and highlighting any potential defects for you - making sure that you're happy with the whole process.

Damaged or faulty fire doors can have serious consequences when it comes to their ability to protect and compartmentalise fire and its toxic smoke - and this is where we want to help you.

Separately, we also offer any remedial work that may need doing. Fire door components such as seals, hinges and door closers are just a few key features that may need replacing. We can fit surface-mounted drop-down seals, intumescent strips, frame-fit, hinges and much more.

Fire-stopping, explained briefly, is the sealing of any opening to prevent fire, smoke and heat from passing through building compartments. Fire stopping is a legal requirement here in the UK to ensure an effective containment and compartmentalisation of fire and smoke within buildings - in the case of a fire.
As a company, we gladly offer fire-boarding as a service as we believe it can be highly effective when protecting your premises from any spread or damage that may be inflicted by fire. The fire line boards are highly resistant to heat and can be used in conjunction with other flame resistant measures. They are lightweight for easy installation and durable to provide an effective method of protection for your building.

Fire Safety Training
At BRND Fire Solutions, we run a Fire Safety Awareness training course which covers the legal requirement to make sure every member of your team knows what to do in the case of fire.
It is key that you and your employees have the correct knowledge and know exactly what to do in the event of a fire. Whether you need an annual refresher or you have new employees that will need training - we are more than happy to help.
