Based in Yateley, Hampshire; BRND Fire Solutions is a father & son ran business with over 30 years experience in the fire service. We cover areas all across England - Hampshire, Surrey and neighbouring counties mainly.

It is extremely important to us to provide a service that protects you and your premises, employees, friends and family from the harmful effects of fire. This is why we as a company offer various fire safety services but first and foremost fire risk assessments -
we feel this is the first and most important step when ensuring your business is as safe as possible, and we would love to assist you along the way.

As well as fire safety, we hold multiple years of experience in building construction and electrical installation - we feel this also plays an important role when assessing a property and its potential risks to fire, as faulty electrics is a main cause of fire within the UK.
Regulatory Information
Fire safety legislation in England and Wales is held under ‘The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005’, which was designed at the time to simplify the existing legal requirements. All buildings that are used for non-domestic purposes, with a few small exceptions, fall under these regulations.

The Fire Safety Order places a clear emphasis on fire risk assessment. Every business needs to have a designated ‘Responsible Person’ in which their job is to make sure certain duties are carried out, and that the correct action is taken to either prevent fire or mitigate the damage if a fire was to occur.

Who does the FSO apply to?

All premises used for non-domestic purposes, with a few small exceptions, fall under these regulations. The order applies to nearly every type of building and structure - to name a few;
Care providers (including care homes and hospitals)
Community halls, places of worship and other community premises
Offices and shops
Schools and sports centres
Barbers and hairdressers
Pubs, clubs and restaurants
Hotels and hostels
Factories and warehouses
